Troops Out By 2010

Obama, says combat troops to be withdrawn from Iraq by August 2010, pledging to end the war in 19 months. Staying beyond the 19 months would be intelligence and surveillance specialists and their equipment. There is a sizable amount of contractors who provide services to them who would pack their bags as well. With more than 200 U.S. military installations in Iraq, it can take up to two months to shut down small outposts and up to 18 months for larger entrenched facilities.
