You were one of the ladies from my childhood and teenage years. You treated me with kindness and gave me attention when others acted as if I was a poor white kid. Being a poor white kid in a small town was something I wouldn't wish on any child growing up. During my growing years, it was even worse. Today's children, don't experience what we did, when we were growing up. You made sure that I had a chance to know that things could be different. I'm so thankful to have known you and the kindness you showed to this poor white girl.
Hugs and Kisses,
Nita Kaye
