It's Almost Here
Winter is almost here in Texas, and now it feels more like the Christmas season. I'm not a cool weather person, and get cold very easy when a small wind passes by. The hard freezes are times when I hunker down where it's warm and watch a good movie or TV show. You will find me covered up with a blanket on the couch while doing so. Either way, the nice 70 degree temps we had recently were more my liking.

God is Good
Have you ever been out somewhere and thought you had left something cooking on the stove? Well, it's not the first time I've rushed home to find whether or not made such a mistake.
About 5 years ago, I did and there was a big mess to clean when I got back. Boiled eggs that have blown up all over the place, don't smell too great. It's takes a few minutes to find all the broken shell parts and get them cleaned up.
Recently, I found myself driving when the thought came to me that I might have left a pan on the stove and it would be red hot, if I did. I could see all types of things happening, like the house catching on fire.
I started praying while driving as legally as I could to get back, and thanks to the Lord, he answered prayer. The pan was cold and the stove was off..........a sigh of relief came across me as I thanked him for his goodness.

THE BLUE
Thursday evening the life in and around Dallas, TX, became full of death and fear. Five police officers lost their lives to one sniper's assault on what he considered the enemy, "Whites". The five who died were white and he was a black man with many frustration's about the situations in our country, pertaining to "blacks" being shot by "white" cops.
Many towns have come forward to lead in vigils to honor the fallen and show support to local police who still actively serve their local areas and towns.
We are finding that more evil has come of the situation, which happened on Thursday. On Saturday and added threat came to the DPD headquarters, and they were put under lock down most of the afternoon, while "Swat" teams combed the area where a suspect was reported to be. This is just too much and must stop! Too much is being heaved on these individuals at this time and needs to cease. Prayers, are certainly a must as we strive to get through this tragic time.

Funny Isn't It?
Funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the world's going to hell.
Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what the Bible says.
Funny how you can send 'jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire but when you start
sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing.
Funny how lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene articles pass freely through cyberspace,
but public discussion of God is suppressed in the school and workplace.
Are you laughing yet?
Funny how we can be more worried about what other people think of us than what God thinks of us.

Punk Dating?
I know there are many of you young people who are into the punk dating scene. I've been around several who go to the concerts and follow certain entertainers, who sing their type of rock music. I know that the young people are trying to find something to associate with and believe in. It's hard growing up in the world today. There are so many deterrents to side track a young person's life.

Insurance?
So, now it's come to this in America? The colleges are buying insurance against sexual misconduct? It's become a big epidemic and colleges are doing something else about the problem of campus rape. The sexual misconduct policies designed
specifically for the tangle of costs colleges face from sexual assault
accusations and their fallout are being offered by certain insurance companies. What else can you expect when the lack of decency has all but left our world? Nothing seems to be sacred anymore and the fun of attack has been escalated in all the horror movies. There's more to this subject than we really know. It's for sure, God is no where to be found in these situations.

Late Term Abortions?
Why are these criminals allowed to practice medicine? Killing innocent babies is wrong, no matter how you look at it. There a people out there childless, who would love to adopt a baby. Why not give these people a chance to be parents to needy unborn babies?

Alone
I'm certainly alone and it's the pits at times, but I am enduring it. I have gotten to the point the people I encounter are not who I want to be around. My children are so messed up that I stay back and don't encourage spending useless time with them. They are too needy and always wanting money to goof off with. I've got priorities which lead me to find the need to save as often as possible. They can't seem to understand that I don't need to be spending money on things that aren't staple. So, I stay away from people who want all the time, and can't seem to do for themselves. Now, you see why I'm alone.

Very True
I'm tired of being told that Islam is a "Religion of Peace," when every day I
can read dozens of stories of Muslim men killing their sisters, wives and
daughters for their family "honor"; of Muslims rioting over some slight
offense; of Muslims murdering Christian and Jews because they aren't
"believers"; of Muslims burning schools for girls; of Muslims stoning
teenage rape victims to death for "adultery"; of Muslims mutilating the
genitals of little girls; all in the name of Allah, because the Qur'an and
Shari'a law tells them to.
This is just a part of an email sent to me by a friend.

Dealing
Just when you think things are going right and your life is rolling along well, something always happens and throws you a curve. I have been doing a part-time job recently and never thought anything so stupid could happen to ruin a good deal. Dealing with the public all these years, has given me a lot of experience and so I didn't think I wouldn't be able to deal with this problem.
I am glad in a way that it's over, but my integrity and feelings are involved. I feel letdown, by the boss and the other co-workers. This shouldn't have happened the way it did. I don't like it but can't change what has happened, so I will go on and make the best of a bad situation.

Looking for a Deal.......
Wow, I wish I had seen this website before I bought new frames, a month ago. They really have some unique designs, to choose from. I was looking around a found many cute pairs to go with my type of dresses and pantsuits. These would really give me more flair, don't you think? I'm not enjoying the one's I bought as well as I would have these. You are able to get great price's on your eyeglasses and still be able to afford an extra pair or two. This website offers great eyewear made to your prescriptions, and you can get sunglasses as well. Why invest in costly glasses, when this website is giving you the quality that is found no where else for the best prices.
Parents with younger children or sports involved teenager's can gain from investing in this brand of eye wear. It's hard to keep active children from loosing or breaking their glasses. The parents are constantly, looking for ways to combat this problem. Now, they can have a cheaper place to buy those extra pairs of glasses.
Check them out for a great pair of frames, you'll be enjoying the show, you'll get with these unique designs.

Bishops May Flex Muscle..........
In the health care debate, for instance, the bishops have consistently identified three priority areas: abortion, religious conscience clauses and immigrant rights. The pressure from the church to ease restrictions on immigrants was “not even close” to the abortion language tug of war. The church’s strategic decisions are significant because, Catholics represent 30 percent of the largest single religious group among members of Congress and it can gain access across party lines.

Those Times.....
Many times during the day, I find that I'm very lonely. There's a reason for that. I just moved my spouse out of the house, because of disrespect. He hasn't been able to say those words "I'm sorry" and so I leave him to himself. It's not as bad as it was back before he and I got together. But it's only been 2 weeks. I still find myself listening for the noise or seeing some of his stuff still here. A quirky reminder of what was. Now, it will never be again, because there's too much water under that bridge. I must carry on and do the best I can to maintain, what's left.
