Strings

Wow, now I've heard it all and I'm sure that there's more I haven't heard.  The  titanium power  of strings?  It says that the guitar strings are coated with this mixture.  I wonder what sounds this might produce?  It must be quality, because they wouldn't be getting sold at this website, by a reputable store.  You musician's know what they are and I'm sure you will be checking the price on a set of these, next time you consider buying a some.

Funny Isn't It?

Funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the world's going to hell.
Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what the Bible says.
Funny how you can send 'jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire but when you start
sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing.
Funny how lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene articles pass freely through cyberspace,
but public discussion of God is suppressed in the school and workplace.
Are you laughing yet?
Funny how we can be more worried about what other people think of us than what God thinks of us.

Punk Dating?

I know there are many of you young people who are into the punk dating scene. I've been around several who go to the concerts and follow certain entertainers, who sing their type of rock music. I know that the young people are trying to find something to associate with and believe in. It's hard growing up in the world today. There are so many deterrents to side track a young person's life.

Insurance?

So, now it's come to this in America?  The colleges are buying insurance against sexual misconduct?  It's become a big epidemic and colleges are doing something else about the problem of campus rape.  The sexual misconduct policies designed specifically for the tangle of costs colleges face from sexual assault accusations and their fallout are being offered by certain insurance companies.  What else can you expect when the lack of decency has all but left our world?  Nothing seems to be sacred anymore and the fun of attack has been escalated in all the horror movies.  There's more to this subject than we really know.  It's for sure, God is no where to be found in these situations.

Late Term Abortions?

Why are these criminals allowed to practice medicine? Killing innocent babies is wrong, no matter how you look at it. There a people out there childless, who would love to adopt a baby. Why not give these people a chance to be parents to needy unborn babies?

Goodbye

I see the dark clouds surrounding your family members as they deal with your death.  It's not a pretty picture to view, because of the strife involved.  My daughter in law, was your daughter and she is getting more than her share of grief at this moment.  The family is not handling your loss well, and she is the brunt of their attacks.  Needless to say, it's not right for this to be happening and it only causes more hurt in the long run.  My prayers for this family, can only be for peace and cooperation between them.
Elaine Knorr, I hope you are able to RIP since you no longer are in control of this situation.  I never met you but, from some of the comments I've seen on Facebook, you were a nice person.  My daughter in law is torn apart from the way the family treated her at your passing.  It's not nice, fair or decent to treat a family member in this manner during such a sad time.  I hope you will be able to send some form of love down to your children during their grief and maybe they will be able to find peace and comfort.
My prayers go out to them and I will keep in touch with your daughter, to comfort her and support her emotionally during the trying times ahead.
God be with you and may you rest in peace,
Sincerely,
Nita

Atheist Churches?

You haven't seen it all yet.  It's just the beginning and we all know what it means. Poor people.  I feel really sorry for these souls, who don't know what's happening to them.

Job Loss

There's always someone who gets the golden egg while you work your tail off trying.  Finding that they under cut you and took your job is even harder on the ego.  You will need to find a Wrongful Termination Attorney San Diego  when you are in the living area of California.  It's never easy to loose a job, but under those circumstances, I'd say some help is needed.

Word Has It

I've been getting a view point from a distant associate about my youngest daughter.  It is the fact that she is trying to do better than in recent years.  It is my hope she will keep this turn around positive and move forward with the new way she is starting to build on.  The old life she chose was not good for her or anyone who came in contact with her.  Maybe some way she will be able to gain back respect for herself in her own mind and way.

Times

Each day you wake up it is a new time to do and experience things.  You can have a great day going and something come along to ruin it's beauty. A bad day starting off, can turn into a great day with just on small gesture or happening.  That's the amazing thing about life and the world we live in.  Interaction with others can give us these opportunities and add to the pleasures or demise.  Finding  comfort during these times in the fact that we are right where we need to be, is something you learn.  This feeling comes from knowing who you are and how you can handle whatever comes your way.  This being that you have faith in something which will help you through the tough times.  Sometimes we have to get away and be alone to find that inner strength down deep inside us.  Drawing from it gives us renewed strength to get through the day or nights ahead.  I find that talking to God, help me no matter what the situation may be.

Dealing

Just when you think things are going right and your life is rolling along well, something always happens and throws you a curve. I have been doing a part-time job recently and never thought anything so stupid could happen to ruin a good deal. Dealing with the public all these years, has given me a lot of experience and so I didn't think I wouldn't be able to deal with this problem.
I am glad in a way that it's over, but my integrity and feelings are involved. I feel letdown, by the boss and the other co-workers. This shouldn't have happened the way it did. I don't like it but can't change what has happened, so I will go on and make the best of a bad situation.

Power of Prayer

Someone has said if Christians really understood the full extent of the power we have available through prayer, we might be speechless. Did you know that during World War II there was an adviser to Churchill who organized a group of people who dropped what they were doing every day at a prescribed hour for one minute to collectively pray for the safety of England , its people and peace?
There is now a group of people organizing the same thing here in America . If you would like to participate: Every evening at 9:00 pm Eastern Time (8:00 PM Central) (7:00 PM Mountain) (6:00 PM Pacific), stop whatever you are doing and spend one minute praying for the safety of the United States , our troops, our citizens, and for a return to a Godly nation. If you know anyone else who would like to participate, please pass this along.

Our prayers are the most powerful asset we have.

Edith Easter........

I recently was sent an email by the mother of the young lady who worked hard on making this video and submitting it to the public world.  Before this time, I had posted the exact story in written form, on this blog.  I had no idea about the author or the place this story had come from.  It is great pleasure to offer the video version of the story for you my readers and friends to see.
May God bless all of you through this video........

Bishops May Flex Muscle..........

In the health care debate, for instance, the bishops have consistently identified three priority areas: abortion, religious conscience clauses and immigrant rights. The pressure from the church to ease restrictions on immigrants was “not even close” to the abortion language tug of war. The church’s strategic decisions are significant because, Catholics represent 30 percent of the largest single religious group among members of Congress and it can gain access across party lines.

But it remains to be seen if the bishops can have the same results as the broader health bill moves forward or on more complex life issues such as embryonic stem cell research. The bishops simultaneously contacted House Republican leaders and warned them against using procedural tactics to torpedo any amendment. The Catholic bishops have also allied themselves with advocates for labor rights and the poor because of the church’s traditional advocacy for the downtrodden.

Those Times.....

Many times during the day, I find that I'm very lonely. There's a reason for that. I just moved my spouse out of the house, because of disrespect. He hasn't been able to say those words "I'm sorry" and so I leave him to himself. It's not as bad as it was back before he and I got together. But it's only been 2 weeks. I still find myself listening for the noise or seeing some of his stuff still here. A quirky reminder of what was. Now, it will never be again, because there's too much water under that bridge. I must carry on and do the best I can to maintain, what's left.

Today, Slow........

Today, is not starting off good for me. I'm sure that things are going to be the way I don't want them to be. I know when I have an uneasy feeling and sometimes it's best to stay away from certain places and people. Today, feels like one of those days. I'm sitting here wanting to get out of the house, and yet I haven't decided where I would go. There are many places that I could go, but am not into it right now. Then there's always the emails, that you get that deliver sad information.........got some of that too.
