Christmas Celebrations
Celebrating Christmas is a way of commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, the central figure of Christianity. Christians believe that Jesus is the Son of God who came to save the world from sin and death. Christmas is also a cultural and commercial phenomenon that involves various traditions and practices, such as exchanging gifts, decorating trees, singing carols, and waiting for Santa Claus12
There are many ways to celebrate Christmas, depending on your religious beliefs, cultural background, and personal preferences. Some common Christmas activities are:
- Attending church services, such as midnight mass, to worship and praise God for the gift of Jesus1
- Reading the Bible stories of Jesus’ birth, such as in the Gospel of Luke and Matthew, and reflecting on their meaning and significance1
- Praying and thanking God for His love, grace, and blessings, and asking for His guidance and protection1
- Giving and receiving gifts, as a symbol of God’s generosity and our gratitude and love for each other2
- Decorating a Christmas tree, which represents the tree of life and the everlasting life that Jesus offers2
- Hanging a wreath, which symbolizes the crown of thorns that Jesus wore and His victory over death2
- Lighting candles or a star, which represent the light of Christ that shines in the darkness2
- Singing carols, which are songs that tell the story of Jesus’ birth and celebrate His glory and joy2
- Making and eating festive foods, such as cookies, cakes, pies, and puddings, which are often associated with specific regions or countries2
- Spending time with family and friends, and sharing the spirit of peace, goodwill, and happiness2

Revelations, Scriptures, Coming True?
There are some of the events that some Christians believe are coming true or will come true soon, based on their interpretation of Revelation. However, there are different views and opinions among Christians about how to understand and apply Revelation, and there is no definitive or authoritative answer. The main message of Revelation is that God is in control of history and that he will fulfill his promises and purposes in his own time and way. Therefore, Christians are called to be faithful, hopeful, and watchful, and to worship and serve God in every situation12

The Watch Begins
Today, I noticed a large truck pull up across the street. It had medical equipment to deliver. A medical bed was delivered, meaning one thing. This is a sad day to view, this action meaning, my neighbor is losing her battle with lung cancer. She has fought it for over 3 years and now I am witnessing her finally stages as it drags the very life out of her fragile body. I've sent prayers up to God, through those years, hoping for a miracle, but knowing that this type of cancer, doesn't give up. Now I can only pray for her comfort during these final stages and for the comfort of her family as they endure the loss of their Mom, wife and grandmother.....along with a very large extended family.

Spirit of Christmas
Kingdom of Heaven Library
Times, are that I will get into the spirit of things that I am posting about and place "references, quotes, pictures, scriptures, etc. into the posting to make my subject more interesting. It's here that I may overstep some of their rules. This is something I wouldn't want to do, so therefore, I did not make an account with them.
Here is the link should you decide that you can comply with their terms of service rules, better I I possibly would. https://kingdomofheavenlibrary.com/ I found some good information and scripture reading there, which I'm sure will be of benefit to many people. I hope that posting this link will prove a positive effort for the website, as well as this blog.

Everywhere, Lately
We've lost one of our personal family members, and there are many who also have lost family members.
In the last few days, the news has reported close to 10+ deaths of individuals, who are known nationwide/worldwide, in one fashion or another. It is my wonder, whether our Lord is ridding or rescuing the one's he is taking from this world?
As I look at the recent list of those who have passed, I see one or two, who may have not lived well enough to become a citizen of Heaven. Sad is the word, that can only be used, since many of us are glad, these people are no longer with us.
Sad, is the word we use when looking at the reason some others passed. Be it health matters, or just passing because it was their time to go.
Utmost condolences, go to family, friends and coworkers involved in these people's live. Prayers, for all who have dealt with the sadness of watching their loved one, fight a disease or illness, only to grow weak from it's onslaught. God, knows what he's doing, and I find comfort in knowing this.......

Lift Up
Since the person who did the sad attack, is also dead, we may never know what his reasons were. Lives were lost and many were also injured, from the gun shots sprayed down upon the crowds. It is a sad thing to live through and experience. May the Lord lift up the one's who are still alive and the families, of those who are gone.
God, will have to take care of the horrible things this person caused, with his comfort in the coming days. Condolences to all who have been affected.

THANK YOU LORD
Yes, I have my problems, and yes they are giving me unwanted stress. Yet, I can see things going on that make my problems, look small in comparison. This gives me a comfort in knowing that I should be grateful for the things in my life and pray for the problems that I see nearby. I can rest in the knowledge that the Lord, has his hand on my life and problems. I can thank him for the goodness, he has given me, knowing that I am truly blessed.
Today, is a good time for all of us to be thankful for the good that is in our lives, and pray for the one's less fortunate.......
