Built as a family home for himself, wife and two children (a son and a daughter). He lived here for about ten years. The St. Maur hotel offers, short stays, such as a couple of nights, bed & breakfast or main stays, if your staying a full week. The relaxing atmosphere, will give you the break you need from your stressful work schedules.
St. Maur , has a background dating back to the 1800's and has been refurbished, down through the years to up-date and keep it in tip top shape. From, the business was run by the Groocock family, who were able to finance refurbishments, plus, in 1971, built on extra rooms. The owners have continued to upgrade, refurbish and improve and today they are open 11 months of the year. An ideal holiday resort, it caters to young and old alike, they promise you a relaxing break with service from a friendly staff who have been with them for the past ten years and longer. Each suite includes in-room tea and coffee making facilities, to accommodate our tennants. Fragrant aromas to greet you as you walk the path to the front door of your suite, from their beautiful gardens. This hotel, is almost 98% full capacity, year round, except for the one month they are closed.
