Ike roared across low-lying islands Sunday as a Category 4 hurricane, destroying homes, sweeping away boats and bringing more rain and misery to already waterlogged communities.
Devastation is everywhere and it's just getting worse. People have nothing left, no food, water, clothes or shelter.Dear God, where will these poor people go for the needed help? Our country is trying to help, and it is also under attack from these storms.
We pray for your help, in this time of need and ask that you place your comforting hand on all that have suffered and are trying to endure. 
As we put our faith and trust in you, we ask your help for our fellow man, and the properties, being torn apart by these storms. In you precious name we ask,Amen
