Mother's Day

Ah yes........the day we all celebrate MOM. But do we celebrate Mom, in a fashion that's giving respect or just because it's another holiday, and the thing to do? I've been so left out many times. It made me think that I was a bad Mom. I know that the kids have their own worlds and lives today. I know that they have to deal with things that are going on and they get lost in it. I can't remember leaving my Mom out very many times, when it came to the observance. Her birthday, was another thing. It took me years to remember the exact day it was on. I wonder why this world's Mom's are getting the she'll understand routine? I wish you would ask yourself.............does she really understand or does she just accept what you offer and let it go?

Futile Efforts..........

Most of this week has been a total loss when it comes to getting anything done. My goals to get certain projects accomplished, have been dashed with the rains, we've been having. I actually got out of the house yesterday afternoon, for some much needed riddance of cabin fever. It was too late in the day to get many chores done, so I went for a bit of relaxation. Rain

We are finally getting some much needed rain, for our area. We've been in a drought condition, several years and it was getting to the point that it happened every year. I don't believe it will be as hard on us this year. These rains we've been having have been torrential and this last one was a gully washer. My car coil gets wet and the thing won't start when that happens. This is the second time it's happened this year...........and I'm about ready to trade the sorry thing off.

This is a very large subject and calls for the inner person to adapt it. You know what it is and you can feel it down deep inside you, when things are questionable. The faith that you can and will make it, is what feeds our desire to strive for it. I know that many times, my faith was all that I had to get me through hard trials in life. I can remember praying and begging for God's assistance. I thought surely things were too far gone. Without the faith that God, would bring me through whatever it was...........I would have made some terrible decisions. Waiting on God, always is the best thing to do, in any situation. No matter what the circumstances, he always comes through with the solution or the answer.

I know there are many of you young people who are into the punk dating scene. I've been around several who go to the concerts and follow certain entertainers, who sing their type of rock music. I know that the young people are trying to find something to associate with and believe in. It's hard growing up in the world today. There are so many deterrents to side track a young person's life.

A Bad Situation

Just when you think things are going right and your life is rolling along well, something always happens and throws you a curve. I have been doing a part-time job recently and never thought anything so stupid could happen to ruin a good deal. Dealing with the public all these years, has given me a lot of experience and so I didn't think I wouldn't be able to deal with this problem.
Today's young people are truly obnoxious, loud and unruly, to say the least. This was the type of situation, that caused my demise. I wasn't ready for the onslaught this person, attacked me with. Needless to say, it made it's rounds at the place I worked and I was let go, because of back stabbing, jealous and opportunistic people. I am glad in a way that it's over, but my integrity and feelings are involved. I feel letdown, by the boss and the other co-workers. This shouldn't have happened the way it did. I don't like it but can't change what has happened, so I will go on and make the best of a bad situation.
