Let us remind ourselves of the young men our country still has fighting overseas, so that our country can be free of terrorists. There are several groups here in the DFW area that meets troops coming home on the planes at the airport. They greet them, welcome them home and serve them some treats and refreshments.
Let us all remember to whisper a prayer for their safe return or maybe get down and have a good old prayer session. These soldiers are giving their all for our country at least we can pray for them. A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.
