Word Has It

I've been getting a view point from a distant associate about my youngest daughter.  It is the fact that she is trying to do better than in recent years.  It is my hope she will keep this turn around positive and move forward with the new way she is starting to build on.  The old life she chose was not good for her or anyone who came in contact with her.  Maybe some way she will be able to gain back respect for herself in her own mind and way.

Mom

Today, would have been Mom's 88th birthday.  She passed away "Easter Sunday Night" this year, and took with her a tremendous amount of knowledge and experiences.  I can't fathom some of the things that she could have gone through during her life.  I can only hope that she felt good about the way she lived it and the people she chose to involve in it.
If I can say anything to you that would suffice for the way I feel, it would have been to know you better, and have a better, more loving relationship with you than what we had.  I can only tell you that I am sorry you are gone and that I wish our visits could have been more.

Each Day

Living daily by the seat of your pants is becoming a way of life.  Learning to believe and trust in things to happen according to the way their supposed to is a test.  Humans aren't as able to do this in the world where we exist.  We find ourselves wanting to hurry things along a bit in order to take off some stress.  Many times all we do is cause ourselves more worry and stress, by taking matters in our own hands.  When I stay back and wait for God's help.  Things fall right into place just as they were meant to.  I hope that I can do this more often and keep as much stress out of my life as possible.

Life

While on one of my social networks, I noticed a post from an old acquaintance.  It was about his daughter holding on and not giving up as yet.  This is a sad moment for him I'm sure.  No one expects one of their children to go before them.  He thanked everyone for their prayers and best wishes, and asked for all to pray for her peace and comfort during this time.  I know that the "end of life" for anyone is a rough time to be had by family and friends.  Seeing someone you love suffer is grueling and painful.  We can find the strength and comfort from only one source and that is our God.

Questions

Every time I embark on a new endeavor, there are questions in my mind of priorities,  How often do we find ourselves in this position?  As often as possible I try to stay back and let God handle this.  Being human is a very hard thing to do and still be able to let God handle things for my good.  Prayer has gone into this new venture and my hope is to let go and let God handle anything that happens.

My Thanks

Once again I stand in awe of our great wonderful God, and how he helps us before we know it.  It doesn't take long to know that if you let him, he will take full control and everything will work out exactly right.  I am thankful for his hand in my situation with my eyes.  Seems I've already got enough money saved up for the out of pocket expenes after Medicare pays off. I was worried that I would be having to scrimp to save up for the second eye, but now I won't..

Gloves

In many lines of work the industry has to maintain the physical nature of many jobs.  Warehouse, construction and other labor jobs are some that will be found using g-tek gloves  for protection and safety. I have used such gloves when working in a warehouse and was thankful to have them during that grueling job.

Trust

How often do we get caught up in life to the point of loosing our perspective?  Troubles start happening and it seems they overwhelm us.  Finding a solution isn't easy for our human minds.  Here we find the often falling apart trend.  We feel all hope is lost, and depression sets in.  So, often we are dealing with the human aspect of the situation and not relying on the almighty power of our Lord to maintain and control the situation. 
This last weekend was prime example of what I cannot fix on my own.  What I thought was lost, became more solid than my expectations could have assumed.  What became a sad situation, that I was trying to deal with, turned into a show of the wonders and works of our Lord's mighty hand.  Today, there is a calm that passes all understanding and makes the situation "a good thing".  Thank you Lord, for being that wonderful "control being" in the midst of my situations.

Styling?

You see most young people with their shades on when it's not needed.  It's a trend to wear them and if they are ray ban shades  then that's acceptable in the fashion scene.  You can see a person get up tight when they consider they have lost their pair of shades.  I think the price might have something to do with that.  If would be a factor for me.

Rain

I woke up to wind, thunder and rain hitting the house.  It will be nice for the lakes, since most of them are down.  It kept me from mowing the yard, after weeks of telling myself, "I'll do it tomorrow".  Will give the grass 2 days to dry out and then try to get motivated once again.  There is now a dire need to get it done, grass is growing fast.

Good with Bad

A true statement written in the word of God, is "through all things there with be content".  Years of fighting this and wanting my own way cause much turmoil, unhappiness, pain and sorrow.  I never was satisfied with life as it came to me.  I wanted more, because I thought I deserved more.  Sounds like a spoiled rotten brat, doesn't it?  In some ways yes, I was.  In other ways, I was a deprived individual who sort for some relief from the life I was living.
As I said, after all these years, I come to see that whatever I'm going through isn't as bad as what others are going through.  Counting my blessings helped with that problem.  Today, I can be thankful for many things, even in the midst of a life storm.  Living life, getting older and seeing the places I could be, have helped me get through this phase in my life.  I can now be content with my life and be thankful for all the good that has been given me.
