What Next?

So much has happened since I last posted on here.  The holiday's have come and gone.  A new year has begun and with it came other happenings.  I find that the American people are having a rough time dealing with the realities of our way of life.  The government has taken it's time making decisions, while some of our leaders are being lax with their actions.  It's getting clear that we are headed into a bad era.  I worry, but the Lord tells us not to.  So, I suppose I will back up and remember his words on the problems of our world and life.  Trusting anything or anyone but him and his guidance is something we need to remember.  Strength to get through each day is becoming foremost as we go about our lives.  It is only through him that we can have the hope for it.

2013 For God

As we search our thoughts about, this past year and remind ourselves of things, gone by. Let us also look forward to the coming year with hope and love in our hearts, as we reach a milestone and move on to another. Remember the one's we've lost and the one's yet to come, for our future depends on the new one's that come to us from now on. God bless you all and may you have wonderful peace, this coming year, no matter what we may face.

Christmas 2012

Most of Texas woke up to rain which switched to sleet, then snow after lunch time.  Morning activities and celebrations were a must, because the weather made driving conditions unsafe.  I stayed home and had my own time on the computer and later watched the TV.  Made me some good food and indulged in some that will make me fatter. 
The weather took it's toll on other areas of the nation, with tornadoes, which tore up homes and  businesses.  My prayers are with those as well as the one's who have lost their lives.  It's been a sad Christmas season, with so many people being killed senselessly.  My condolences go out to the one's who now have to deal with the loss of their family member or friends.  Our world needs to come back to the only thing that can help us.  Our belief in our God.

Kitchen

When Mom and her new husband retired they decided to take their retirement and use it to remodel the home.  She made every effort to find the  best ready made kitchen cabinets  they could afford.  It took several months of shopping, planning and actual work.  The house still could use more but alas, as always the money ran out.

Christmas

Lost Children

I find it hard to write this and wish it were not needful.  Here I am alive when a few states away families mourn the loss a their loved one.  It is my hope that somehow these sweet little one's who have gone back to be with their creator, were happy during their short lives.  I also pray that the families can move through this and build strength with each other during the coming days, weeks and months.  Pain will wreak their hearts for many years.  Closure will take it's own time depending on the people enduring the losses. 
To the teacher's and principal who also lost their lives I have no words to express the feelings in my heart.  You were there, doing a job.  This job you loved and looked forward to molding the minds of these students in your care.  I pray for peace that passes all understanding, for all.

America Sad

Heavy hearts abound while people try to understand how and why this could happen?  Children are dead along with the School Principal and several teachers.  Grief stricken families now have the task of moving through a holiday without a family member they held dear.
 I have seen our America go through this type of disaster several times in the last few years.  My feelings about how and why these things have and are occurring stems from my beliefs and the way our laws have handled our controls over our children's training systems.  We parents are no longer able to correct and lead our children in the correctness of life.  There is no sacred thing these young people hold dear and apart from this type of action.  We have lost what is important and our nation's people are hurting.  Where there is no God, there is no peace.

Winter

Winter finally arrived here in Texas, and now it feels more like the Christmas season.  I'm not a cool weather person, and get cold very easy when a small wind passes by.  The hard freezes are times when I hunker down where it's warm and watch a good movie or TV show.  You will find me covered up with a blanket on the couch while doing so.  Either way, the nice 70 degree temps we had recently were more my liking.

An Old Acquaintance

This week I ran into a person whom I've known for several years.  He has had one horrific battle after another with cancer and it looks as though he may encounter another this coming year.  When I first met him back in the early 2000's he was robust, peppy and full of life.  Today, his frail body moves along carefully, maintaining balance with each step.  He's still alive and this is what we hold on to.  There is a reason he's still here, because there have been many times God could have taken him on.  I feel sorrow in the fact of his pain and suffering.  Inspiration comes just thinking about what he has endured.  My small aches and pains are nothing compared to his, and I thank God for giving me this insight.  My prayers are with him as he move into another phase of his life.  God bless you my friend.

CHRISTMAS

Once again we come to the Christmas season, which gives us the time of peace and joy.  It is my hope that you will find this time to reflect on the important things in your life as well as those about you.

AC Units

Here we have another website who specializes in all types of products.  I visited it to find a wide array of items listed and they even have air conditioner units  for your convenience.  It's amazing how you find so many things at your click of a mouse these days.  As long as you have a bank account, gift card, credit or debit card then as long as your funds hold out you can shop.

Reason

So many things have been happening and it's just as if we are trained to expect no less.  I see disaster's all around and even among us.  It's as if there's no end to these happenings.  I know what the Bible says about things like this, and even though we've been hearing this stuff all our lives, it's still something to think about. 
If we listen and believe in the "Mayan" theory, this December 21, is it for us.  I believe what the "word" says about it.  I do believe that for everything that happens, there's a reason for it.  We may not see it until later on down the road.  Either way I do believe that there is a reason for any and everything that happens.  Sometimes, we can blame some of it on "karma".
