Ellipticals........

 The doctor encouraged a friend of mine to get exercise, but knowing they had a sun allergy, made it difficult to prescribe a certain type.  He then suggested that my friend get an elliptical trainer to use at home, and not have to be outside while exercising. I’m a person, who can't go around re-modeling my home. I certainly can't afford it on a bloggers  salary. I Know How This Sounds.....

All through my life, there have been births, and deaths which were either in my family, close to my family or just acquaintances.  I noticed that when there is a death, very soon after you find that someone in and around your life has had a baby.  This tends to make me wonder about the spirit of a person, and whether or not it is interred into another body?  I know what the Bible says, and still I sometimes have my questions.

Woman.........

When I created the heavens and the earth, I spoke them into being. When I created man, I formed him and breathed life into his nostrils. His heart is the center of his being; his lungs hold the breath of life. The rib cage will allow itself to be broken before it will allow damage to the heart.

Support man as the rib cage supports the body. You were not taken from his feet, to be under him, nor were you taken from his head, to be above him. You were taken from his side, to stand beside him, also to hold close to his side. You are my perfect angel. You are my beautiful little girl. You have grown to be a splendid woman of excellence, and my eyes fill when I see the virtues in your heart. Your eyes - do not change them. Your lips - how lovely when they part in prayer. Woman, support man, in humility shows him the power of emotion I have given you. In gentle quietness show your strength. In love, show him that you are the rib that protects his inner self

Dear Grandma

Dear Grandma,(my great grandmother)

I know you couldn't be here today, because you'd bee too old and not be able to see or hear. Modern technology, couldn't have helped you. You were so set in your ways, and old fashion. Anyone, born in 1861, had a right to be set in their ways. You lived to be 99yrs. old and it was 3 months and 19 days, before your 100th birthday, that you finally, went to rest.
It was so wonderful, being able to be in your life and listen to all your stories. I could only imagine, the scenes your portrayed as I listened, with wild glee.
I remember hearing you sing in your old folk manner, and your speech was the same.
You were such a tiny woman, but you had so much stamina and wit. How you made it through all those years with the rough struggles, you had to face is something to be proud of. What at heritage, you left all of us, to follow.
Today, I miss you and still draw on the strength you somehow passed on in actions and words. I know your up there, waiting right along with everyone else. See you one day soon.

Dear Mamaw

I've missed you, for such a long time now. It seems only yesterday, we let you go to heaven. It's hard to remember all the times we shared. All the life you gave to me, from childhood to adulthood. I wonder what's going on up there, and what you see, when you look down here? I wonder, how it will be one day, when I finally come to you? As always, I'm still your scared little girl and look to you for guidance, even though your not here. It's like your right beside me, and I can touch you, no matter where I am. I still love you and wish you were here.

Dear Paul

I've know you for a long time, and was even married to you for awhile.  During those years, we had our fun moments, sorrows and arguments, which finally came down to our terrible divorce.  One good thing did come of these times, and it was our beautiful daughter.
 You have been through many rough health problems and managed to conquer them all, until now.  I've seen you take on the problems of having back surgeries, heart bypass, artery stripping and more.  Now you've come to the worst battle of your life, cancer.  If you are able to survive it, you will be 75 years old come the 3rd of August.  I went to visit you the other day, and saw how much this disease has taken away from you.  It wasn't a good sight, and I'm sure things will get worse.  They predict that since your cancer can't be operated on, that you will last another month or two.  Since you won't eat, I know it's just a matter of time before your body will shut down on you.
Our poor daughter, is having a hard time accepting the coming tragedy of your death.  No one wants to face it but realize it's going to happen.  This is beyond our hands and we can only pray that God, will help and comfort you along with everyone involved.
So long to my old friend, and ex-husband is all I can say........I will pray that you get right with your maker,
