Live Prayer

Live Prayer is a Christian evangelical Internet and television ministry located in Tampa, Florida and run by Rev. Bill Keller.
The ministry began as a website in 1999. later expanding into a daily TV show on March 3rd, 2003. To date, more than 1,175 episodes of the program have aired.
Live Prayer was broadcast nationally in the United States from July 3rd, 2006 through November of 2006 on ION Television. At the end of that period, the ministry was financially unable to continue purchasing time.  
So, sad because things like this are happening more and more.
I was sent this through an email response to a post I made on this blog.  I am happy to post this if it will be of any service to this ministry and the people who read my blog.

Prayer

Someone has said if Christians really understood the full extent of the power we have available through prayer, we might be speechless. Did you know that during World War II there was an adviser to Churchill who organized a group of people who dropped what they were doing every day at a prescribed hour for one minute to collectively pray for the safety of England , its people and peace?
There is now a group of people organizing the same thing here in America . If you would like to participate: Every evening at 9:00 pm Eastern Time (8:00 PM Central) (7:00 PM Mountain) (6:00 PM Pacific), stop whatever you are doing and spend one minute praying for the safety of the United States , our troops, our citizens, and for a return to a Godly nation. If you know anyone else who would like to participate, please pass this along.

Our prayers are the most powerful asset we have.

If there is truly one word to describe wholeness, it is peace. It is the absence of fear and worry, the God given ability to cease from striving and allow the Holy Spirit to move, heal, and direct our lives.

The Cheap Way

Many families have turned to cremation as a final and cheap way to dispose of a love one's body.  Last rites have become individual family & friends memorials at home or you local funeral home.  Those who can't afford the funeral home expenses, opt for a personal memorial between family and friends at a convenient location, with personal burial at the family cemetery or a local place that was special to the person being buried.  It's sad that this has come down to this, but it's become too expensive to die, these days.

Drawer Slides

Dear Lady...........

Helen Parrish.............
I remember the first time I ever met you.  It was a family holiday and you were at your daughter's for the festivities.  My sister took me over with her so she could give you your gifts from her and your son.  Meeting the other side of the family for the first time, was a good venture.
I remember your bubbly persona, and how you were enjoying the family and the moments you all had going on.  You talked to me as if I had been there many years.  As the last few years have gone by, I've seen you through visits to the nursing home where my parents and you were staying.
I can say truthfully that you always had that smile and it gave a sense of sweetness to you and anyone around you.  No longer than I was able to know  you, I found  you to be as full of life as your body would allow.  You had that sweet spirit that not many people are endowed with.
I know that you are with your family and friends up there above us.  I'm sure that Don and Carolyn will miss you terribly.  It's going to be a great loss for them to handle.  Yet, they have the peace that you no longer are suffering and are finally at rest.
God bless you sweet lady, and may you rest in peace.

Dear Lady

I saw on a social media where the local FD posted of your death this morning.  It seems that you passed away last night.  Though we hadn't been in much contact recently, you were still a part of our neighborhood family.  I know your husband will be lost without you, since you two have been together since you high school days and marriage.  I'm not sure if you were younger than my sister, but I know you were younger than me because I'm about 4 years older than your husband.  I don't know what you may have been in ill health from?  I always saw you dashing around town, doing you duty as the Mayor's wife and carrying on your church activities.  I have known you, and your family for years.  I've know your husband's family for years and grew up with the boys during our school years.  It's sad to see you leave so soon, and I can only hope that the family, friend's and coworkers will aide in seeing your husband through this difficult time.
