Growing up as a child was different from many. A grandmother who went to church devoutly also lived the life as best she could. Being human has always been a problem for anyone who tries to live the Christian way and beliefs. She no doubt found times that she could not understand. I often saw her on her knees praying for guidance as she went about her daily life. Most of all I remember her singing. Whether it be at church or home, she could always break out in a song of praise to her Lord. Following in her footsteps became a way of life. I too found that feeling of uplifting every time I sang for the Lord. Starting at the age of 4, I began a life filled with the gift of music. Songs became a way of feeling that I was giving of myself to the local world around me. The fact that most of my music was religious was no problem to me. It was my heritage, where I came from. That was good enough for me.
Her singing was always comforting in a secure way, and gave me peace that she had the hand of God leading and guiding her every move. One thing I always knew was that she would go to him in all things, no matter what.......! That was the REAL THING!

Different Ways
It's been the one thing that has always affected our cultures. Birth & death has a way of changing lives in one way or another. You find that people of different cultures celebrate or grieve in different manners.
Often a person's emotional stability can affect how they handle these dire moments in their lives. While birth is something to celebrate, death is something to grieve. It's not so easy to accept the limitations that these certain moments place upon us.
Depending on the circumstances of a birth, it can be joyous or problematic. A young mother can have many problems adapting to the birth of an unexpected child. She is overcome with guilt for not wanting this child to be born. Her financial situation in life may contribute to this feeling. Whether or not she decides to keep the child or place it up for adoption, she will have many negative emotional times during her life.
A death is never easy to accept or deal with. Once again remember it is the emotional stability of the people going through the ordeal of loosing a loved one. One can only hope that these situations are made more peaceful by the strength of love and prayer.

Goodbye
I see the dark clouds surrounding your family members as they deal with your death. It's not a pretty picture to view, because of the strife involved. My daughter in law, was your daughter and she is getting more than her share of grief at this moment. The family is not handling your loss well, and she is the brunt of their attacks. Needless to say, it's not right for this to be happening and it only causes more hurt in the long run. My prayers for this family, can only be for peace and cooperation between them.
Elaine Knorr, I hope you are able to RIP since you no longer are in control of this situation. I never met you but, from some of the comments I've seen on Facebook, you were a nice person. My daughter in law is torn apart from the way the family treated her at your passing. It's not nice, fair or decent to treat a family member in this manner during such a sad time. I hope you will be able to send some form of love down to your children during their grief and maybe they will be able to find peace and comfort.
My prayers go out to them and I will keep in touch with your daughter, to comfort her and support her emotionally during the trying times ahead.
God be with you and may you rest in peace,
Sincerely,
Nita

KJV Bible
I'm sure that if you've lived in the US then you've been familiarized
with the teachings of the Bible. God's word lays out a clear plan for
living one's life. I know that it's a very frustrating book to
understand and gets people in a mood, not to read it or research it. In
fact the King James version is the most prominent translation of the
Bible. It gives the version the author King James, had written up
during his rein. I'm not a history buff and don't know exactly who he
was so I can't give any details about him. All I know is that this
version, is all over the world and in my home. Reading the Bible, was
something I never did very often. I'll admit, that I've not been doing
it as much as I should even now. I do skim through it from time to time,
in order to find scriptures relevant to the post I am writing. Some of
the scriptures remain in my memory from days of living in church
during my childhood. The Bible is considered the Word of God and to
those who want to live accordingly, needs to be read and researched
daily.
St. Theresa's Prayer
May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be confident knowing you are a child of God. Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of us.

Gift of Life
Recently we lost our step-dad, and here we have a brand new addition to our family. I've noticed down through the years, that when someone you know dies, it isn't long before you hear of someone having a baby. So, once again this has happened and I often wonder about these mysteries? What do you think?

Hand of God?
This photo was released to the news media in the last day or so. It is an exploded star 17,000 light years away and the NASA Space telescope took a picture of what they consider "The Hand of God". A beautiful picture and yet I ask, what you think about it?

Lessons
This will help you tone your body and give you a new way to interact with others. The salsa lessons in los angeles helps individuals acquire skills to be proficient in certain dance moves. Since California is so close to the border of Mexico, it's a known subject that is common to that area. Trying to learn on your own, is a challenge. Get the help you need and earn approving glances from others who can't get those steps down.
