I  remember these days with the innocence that a young child has during those times.  I thought the world was full of good things and that the future was going to be wonderful.
In this picture I was wearing a dress made for me by my grandmother.  It looks as though my hair was pulled back and secured with a barrette.  On the right is Michael Green and on the left is Earl Smith, wow, I can remember them after all these years.

The Law

In any country you must have a form of legal entry to stay any length of time.  Moving to our country takes legal papers, when the people want to stay and work.  They need to get help through  abogado de inmigracion  to make certain they are free from any laws that restrict their actions.  I'm sure they can get the assistance they need to obtain these legal documents if they click on the above link in this post.

Mom and Me

 I was probably 5 yrs. old in this picture, and it was taken out front of the old house on Hwy. 66.  It all seems so distant to me, since Mom is now gone and I am 69.  Memories take on a new meaning as I look at the old pictures.  I realize that someday, my children will be doing the same.  I hope they have some good memories of me.  That would mean I did something right.

Food

The story on the news, is telling us that there are many people going without food, lately. It's my concern that we as the American people, need to rally and help our fellow citizens who are in need. Since our government isn't doing much to help, we need to follow up on the needs in our own towns and states.

So True.....

Funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the world's going to hell.
Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what the Bible says.
Funny how you can send 'jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire but when you start
sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing.
Funny how lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene articles pass freely through cyberspace,
but public discussion of God is suppressed in the school and workplace.
Are you laughing yet?
Funny how we can be more worried about what other people think of us than what God thinks of us.

So Many

Recently I've been seeing a ramdom amount of people I know who are passing on. It's disturbing to know that one day I will be counted in one of the obits. I often wonder if we realize how quickly the time has slipped by? To me it was only yesterday that I was so young and innocent. Here I am today, with silver hair and wrinkles. I actually lived this long compared to others not so lucky.

Atheist Churches?

You haven't seen it all yet.  It's just the beginning and we all know what it means. Poor people.  I feel really sorry for these souls, who don't know what's happening to them.

Dear Matt

Matthew Mickelson Butman

 

Although I never met you or your family, I've watched the stories and updates through the last 3 or 4 years.  You have been a very great inspiration to all whom your spirit and existence touched.  I saw the pictures of you in your room and read your many updates during your short life.  I watched as your family searched for the strength, peace and comfort during your bad bouts with this disease.  Now, that you are gone I know they will miss you and wonder if there will ever be a cure to what has taken two of their sons?  May God rest your sweet soul and give your family peace.
Every time I would get down and start feeling sorry for myself, I would remember you were over there just a few miles away trying to hold on to what life you had left.  I felt no pity for myself and thanked God that your short sweet life touched me as well as many others around the world.  Go with God, Matt and RIP........
Condolences to all family and friends of this sweet boy.......Heaven has another angel....
