Let Down

I found that helping a person, can't always turn out for the best. No matter how hard I try to help this one woman, she's a very heavy load. Financially, she exhausts my finances. All the time she borrows ahead of a payment I make to her, then when she gets drunk, she forgets that she's borrowed the money. I've stopped answering her calls, because I just can't handle the stress anymore. Yesterday, it was a good thing I wasn't at home, because she drove up into my driveway, and was looking for me to get more money. She's working on the October payment which isn't even due until the 1st. I didn't mind helping her, until it was brought to my attention, that she was telling people she thought I was cheating her. Now, my feelings are hurt and one thing's for sure. She'll have to wait until, the 1st to get the rest of her payment. I'm tired of her draining me.

I'm Fat........

I wish there was something I could find that would help me loose weight. It's not easy to believe in all the different brands on the market. The best diet pills cost so much money, that I'm not able to afford them. Even some of the products, come up being bad for your health. I don't want to cause myself any health problems, so I really have to check out different reviews on the pills.

There's been so much activity that's illegal, going on within companies. They need a way to keep track of what their employees are doing online, to protect themselves. I've always had a motto, that I sort of live my life by. Especially, when that still small voice whispers to me. It's "Give & spend & God will send". This has been my whole idea about life. He gives us what we have to reach out and help others. It has come to my attention down through the years that he always, brings me what is needed to survive and make it from day to day. Truly, if you do what God leads you to do, he will provide for you when you need him.

Miss Josie

I can remember her now, the tall thin framed woman, would make her way down the sidewalk to go to church, unless the weather was bad. Sometimes, people would come and pick her up and take her to church with them. This lady was well into her late sixties or early seventies, with salt & pepper hair that she wore back in a bun at the base of her neck. I always was ready for her to stop by or come to visit my grandmother. The lady, was a story teller that could hold your attention with her exciting ways of expressing the suspense and drama. At the end of her stories, was always a moral that gave a clear picture of what a person should choose for their life.
I remember going to her home 2 doors up to check on her when I hadn't seen her for a few days. Sometimes, I would see her walking around out in her yard. There was this huge fig bush, that had the sweetest fig's on it. My grandmother had a fig bush but the fig's it grew, weren't as sweet as the fig's on Miss Josies' bush. Miss Josie, was an old maid and never had any children. I suppose it was fitting that she taught Sunday School to the children and told them stories, that they could enjoy like I did.
This is a tribute to one lovely lady, who loved her Lord and made sure everyone saw it in her life.

Family

It's been very important with me down through the years, to try and keep the family having holiday and other get to gathers. I feel that's where you make your memories and infuse the family feelings of being together. So, when ever possible I would make the effort to put together a dinner and such. It's worked so far, but I feel this year will be somewhat different, with all the extended things that have happen in the past few months. So, I will play this holiday season, by ear and wait to see what comes of it. You just never know what will happen.
