Plane/Helicopter Collide

SaltWater Fish

Do you ever enjoy looking at the fish in a pet store? I love to watch the different fish and see how beautiful they are. They say that you can get coral for sale as well. I've seen it in television documentary's, but didn't realize that you could actually have it in your own tank. I remember seeing those things moving around with the water, but I guess you just don't realize, they are alive as well. I considered them to be live plants, not sea life like fish.
I've always had fresh water fish tanks, and never considered that I should buy coral because there's a lot more detail that has to be taken. There's the huge ordeal of just getting the water ready and the filtering system going, before you can even consider putting saltwater fish in it. Some of those salt water fish are very expensive. I wouldn't be able to afford the fancy fish, because I'm sure that something would go wrong and it would die. I've invested quite a bit of money in setting up a fresh water tank and the tropical fish that goes in it. Sadly, to say they bit the dust as well. I enjoy watching the fish bear their babies, live. For that reason, I always bought live bearers to put in my tanks.

Prayer

I recently requested prayer for a friend of mine, who has cancer. I'm not sure how he contracted his form of cancer and what type he may have. It is a grueling time for him and his family, while all we can do is sit on the sidelines and wait. A certain type of cancer known as mesothelioma is a result of exposure to certain chemicals. This is one that the family, needs to consult a lawyer about, concerning the liabilities of the companies or public service units.

Irena Sendler

There recently was a death of a 98 year-old lady named Irena. During WWII, Irena, got permission to work in the Warsaw Ghetto, as a Plumbing/Sewer specialist. She had an 'ulterior motive' ... She KNEW what the Nazi's plans were for the Jews, (being German.) Irena smuggled infants out in the bottom of the tool box she carried and she carried in the back of her truck a burlap sack, (for larger kids..) She also had a dog in the back that she trained to bark when the Nazi soldiers let her in and out of the ghetto. The soldiers of course wanted nothing to do with the dog and the barking covered the kids/infants noises.. During her time of doing this, she managed to smuggle out and save 2500 kids/infants. She was caught, and the Nazi's broke both her legs, arms and beat her severely. Irena kept a record of the names of all the kids she smuggled out and kept them in a glass jar, buried under a tree in her back yard. After the war, she tried to locate any parents that may have survived it and reunited the family. Most had been gassed. Those kids she helped got placed into foster family homes or adopted.
Last year Irena was up for the Nobel Peace Prize ... She was not selected.
