Looking for a Deal.......

Wow, I wish I had seen this website before I bought new frames, a month ago. They really have some unique designs, to choose from. I was looking around a found many cute pairs to go with my type of dresses and pantsuits. These would really give me more flair, don't you think? I'm not enjoying the one's I bought as well as I would have these.  You are able to get great price's on your eyeglasses and still be able to afford an extra pair or two.  This website offers great eyewear made to your prescriptions, and you can get sunglasses as well. The Casino.........

 My sister in law, told me that her other 2 sister's were hounding her about going to the casino down in Louisana for a day.  It's their sisterly get away together, and they haven't been able to get out together because of one thing or another.  I've thought several times about going to one of our local resorts that has casinos and spend a few days spoiling myself.  It's great fun to find a machine or table that going your way.  Spending time at a table or machine doesn't bother me, when I'm waiting for that "jackpot" to hit.

Precious Memories

New York....New York !

 Fast paced is the word of this center of attention.  It's a place people go to live and work in the "jet set" atmosphere.  Getting  jobs in New York  means, commuting from downtown, to your home in the suburban areas.  This can be done by rail or vehicles, and considered very stressful on a daily basis.  Jobs in New York, are considered something to have, and along with it comes the prestige of the doing so.

Artic Warming Fears.........

The experts measured levels of methane, a gas that can be released by rotting vegetation, in water and air at 5,000 sites on the East Siberian Arctic Shelf from 2003-08. In some places, methane was bubbling up from the seabed.
Previously, the sea floor had been considered an impermeable barrier sealing methane and current methane concentrations in the Arctic are the highest in 400,000 years.  A study said about 8 million tonnes of methane a year, equivalent to the annual total previously estimated from all of the world's oceans, were seeping from vast stores long trapped under permafrost below the seabed north of Russia.

What Would It..........

 I wonder what they would have done, if they had of had a faucet  back during the time of Jesus or Moses?  Drawing water from the well or getting it from a stream, was their way of fulfilling the need to have usable water.  I've seen pictures of people bathing in river's or streams, because they had no facilities during those times.  Today, I've noticed people using streams or lakes to bathe, when they are victims of earthquakes or hurricanes.

Getting Dressed......

Have you ever watched a girl getting dressed for a special occasion?  It's very stressful, and sometimes down right excruciating.  The poor thing attempts to get it right, and look great, when all the time she's falling apart on the inside with worry.  Does my hair look right, are my shoes right, does the dress make me look yucky?  It's horrible what society has plagued us women with........we're just sunk.

Have You Noticed..........

All through my life, there have been births, and deaths which were either in my family, close to my family or just acquaintances.  I noticed that when there is a death, very soon after you find that someone in and around your life has had a baby.  This tends to make me wonder about the spirit of a person, and whether or not it is interred into another body?  I know what the Bible says, and still I sometimes have my questions.

Gorgeous Weather

You can tell that it's becoming springtime, with all the nice weather we have had in the last few days.  The sun is out, and the bird's are singing....making it a quality day to enjoy.  So, here I sit inside writing on this computer in order to make a few bucks.  It's just not right!  I should be outside enjoying the warmth of the beautiful sun and getting ready for all those fun spring things we here in Texas like to do.

Help For Chile............

Earthquake survivors live in a temporary shelter after their homes were destroyed in Constitucion, March 3, 2010. Four days after the 8.8-magnitude earthquake killed around 800 people in south-central Chile, rescue crews with sniffer dogs fanned out around Chile's ravaged cities and villages, searching for survivors inside the mountains of rubble, while police and troops have managed to quell looting and violence in the largest cities.
