Summer time is when many of the disaster's occur.  These happen in the form of hurricanes, earthquakes, fires and local storms.  I've watched as the earth leashes it's torrential rains upon areas that are already soaked beyond help.  Hurricane season is upon us and we watch the Gulf of Mexico with fear or more bad ones each year.  It is our hope that if we can get needed rain to ease the drought, it will come in the form of slow showers.  We can't hope for hurricanes, because of the damage they cause, yet we sure could use the rain and relief from the heat.
