This lady is rescued by firefighters after her car was stranded by flood waters in downtown Louisville, Ky., Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2009. I hope there wasn't much damage to these vehicles. They are so hard to replace, when dealing with insurance companies.
Heavy thunderstorms fed floods in Kentucky and Indiana on Tuesday, shutting down a university campus in Louisville, closing highways and cutting power to thousands of people. Western Louisville was swamped by more than 6 inches of rain in three hours Tuesday morning.
